Photo Info

The largest peak in this photo is Annapurna South, in Nepal. I took this photo from Deorali Pass early in the morning. I think my guide book indicated that it was an impressive sight during sunrise. The photo was taken in the late fall of 1991 during a trek to the Annapurna sanctuary (as it is called). I had just finished the Annapurna circuit trek and was making my way to the "sanctuary". Film was Fujichrome 100, taken with my Nikon N2020 and Nikkor 24-50mm lens, scanned with my Nikon Coolscan IV.
